"39th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - SURAT”

39th Annual General Meeting of “All India Memon Jamat Federation” (AIMJF) was held on Sunday, 8th August, 2021 at 11 am in Memon Hall, Chowk Bazar, Surat.

Meeting was attended by 500 (approx) members, including prominent members of community + Office Bearers,Board Members, Zonal Secretaries, NEC Members, Jamat Heads of AIMJF member Jamats & Invitees.

Meeting was compeered by Mr Gani Biba

Mr Iqbal Memon Officer (President – AIMJF) presided the meeting.

Meeting was commenced with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Hafiz Yasin Asif Officer & Hafiz Husain Fazalwala & Naat Sharif by Aalim Saad Waghbakriwala.

• Mr. Ilyas Bha Kapadia delivered the Welcome address and greeted all the members present.
• As per Agenda Items Mr. Aziz Macchiwala (Hon. Gen Secretary) presented the minutes of last AGM which was unanimously approved by the members present.
• Mr. Aziz Machiwala(Hon. Gen Secretary) presented the Audited Statement of Accounts for the year 2020/21 which was unanimously approved by the members present.
• Mr. Aziz Machiwala (Hon. Gen Secretary) presented the motion regarding appointment of Auditor of AIMJF for the FY 2021/22, Mr Mansoor Darvesh proposed the name of M/s Dalal&Dalal (Chartered Accountant) as auditor of All India Memon Jamat Federation for the year 2021/22 and Mr Farook Bawla seconded and all the members present unanimously approved the same.
• He further thanked all the Office Bearers / Board Members / Zonal Secretaries / NEC Members and Donors for their various selfless efforts to achieve above activities for the misfortune strata of our community at large.
• Members present appreciated the Report& Documentary presented by Mr Iqbal Memon Officer and assured their support through standing ovation.
• Mr Iqbal Memon Officer stated that we have to work hard till our community becomes self-esteem.
• He further thanked all for their kind faith, cooperation and support extended to AIMJF always.
• Below mentioned dignitaries were felicitated with Memento & Shawl for their outstanding achievements and grand contribution to society in social field.

• Souvenir of AIMJF for the year 2019/20 & 2020/21 was launched by the hands of Mr Aijaz Dhebar, Raipur - Mayor – Raipur Municipal Corporation
• Memon Times AGM issue was also launched by the hands of Mr Aijaz Dhebar, Raipur - Mayor – Raipur Municipal Corporation
• Ms Sana Ashfaq Memon presented painting frame to Mr Iqbal Memon Officer & Mr Imran Fruitwala.
• It was resolved that the Jamats who have not yet registered themselves in Charity Commissioner should register with Charity Commissioner & open Bank account in any nationalized bank.
• Chq of Rs.50 Lakhs was handed-over to Chiplun Memon Jamat towards relief help to flood affected victims.
• Mr Aziz Machiwala conveyed Vote of Thanks and expressed his gratitude to all the members’ present on-behalf of AIMJF for making this AGM a grand success and the meeting was ended at 6.00 pm with Dua e Khair
