"40th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - MUMBAI”

40th Annual General Meeting of “All India Memon Jamat Federation” (AIMJF) was held on Sunday, 25th September, 2022 at 11 am in Haj House, Mumbai.

Meeting was attended by 1000 (approx) members, including Office Bearers, Board Members, Zonal Secretaries, NEC Members, Jamat Heads of AIMJF member Jamats, High Rank Minister, Politicians, Bureaucrats & Invitees.

Meeting was compeered by Mr Gani Biba, Mrs Rizwana Punjani & Mr Imran Fruitwala

Mr Iqbal Memon Officer (President – AIMJF) presided the meeting.

Meeting was commenced with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Hafiz Yasin Asif Officer

Hazrat Sayyed Moin Miya commenced the AGM with Dua e Khair

• Condolence Resolution & Dua e Magferat was extended by Hazrat Sayed Moin Miya to below mentioned deceased members of AIMJF

• Thereafter National Anthem & Memon Anthem was played followed by Sadqa.
• Mr Aziz Machiwala delivered the Welcome address and greeted all the members present.
• As per Agenda Items:-
  Mr. Aziz Macchiwala (Hon. Gen Secretary) presented the minutes of last AGM which was unanimously approved by the members present.
• Mr. Shakir Batliwala (Hon. Jt Secretary) presented the Audited Statement of Accounts for the year 2021/22 which was unanimously approved by the members present.
• Mr. Shakir Batliwala (Hon. Jt Secretary) presented the motion regarding appointment of Auditor of AIMJF for the FY 2022/23, Mr Aslam Bawany proposed the name of M/s Dalal & Dalal (Chartered Accountant) as an auditor of All India Memon Jamat Federation for the year 2022/23 and Mr Sajid Makani seconded and all the members present unanimously approved the same.
• Mr Iqbal Memon Officer presented the detailed report of activities of AIMJF for the year 2022/23 via Documentary Film including present status of our community living in dilapidated houses, Women Empowerment, Health Issues etc.
• He further thanked all the Office Bearers / Board Members / Zonal Secretaries / NEC Members and Donors for their various selfless efforts to achieve above activities for the misfortune strata of our community at large.
• Members present appreciated the Report & Documentary presented by Mr Iqbal Memon Officer and assured their support through standing ovation.
• Bhai Jagtap (MLC) & Mrs Yamini Yashwant Jadhav felicitated below mentioned dignitaries with Memento and shawl for their outstanding achievements and grand contribution to society in social field.

• Mr Abde Ali (Representative of Sayedna Mufaddal Saifuddin - spiritual leader and 53rd Da'i al-Mutlaq of one million Dawoodi Bohras) read the wishing message of Sayedna and appreciated the activities of AIMJF.
• Souvenir, Appeal of AIMJF for the year 2021/22 & Money Box was launched by the hands of Mrs Yamini Yashwant Jadhav (MLA) & Bhai Jagtap (MLC)
• Memon Times AGM issue was also launched by the hands of Mr Quaiser Khalid IPS (Commissioner of Police Railways)
• Mr Sharif Memon stated that day by day activities of AIMJF are progressing and the constitution of AIMJF is very old and need to be amended as per present scenario for the betterment of community including scope of activities, membership nos, jamat fees, etc.
• Adv Yusuf Abrahani proposed the said resolution Mr Suhail Khandwani seconded the said resolution Members present unanimously approved the aforesaid resolution
• Mr Sharif Memon further stated that in last AGM it was resolved that Jamats who have not yet registered themselves in Charity Commissioner should register with Charity Commissioner, obtain PAN Card & open Bank account in any nationalized bank.
• Many Jamats have started implementing the same and now in today’s AGM we unanimously approve and confirm the same

• Mr Aziz Machiwala conveyed Vote of Thanks and expressed his gratitude to all the members present on-behalf of AIMJF for making this AGM a grand success and the meeting was ended at 7.00 pm with Dua e Khair
